"Your husband is evil! EVIL!"
"Now, why would you even think that, Fancine? My hunny bunny is an absolute gentleman! Not only that, but he's the kind king of Wasteland, and he'd never-"
"You just don't know, Ortensia! YOU JUST DON'T KNOW!"
"Actually, I believe I do know. You're the one that doesn't know."
"Yeah, well, he never broke up with you!"
"You do realize that it was your fault in the first place, don't you?"
"Well... bu... I mean-"
OKAY, ENOUGH WITH THIS STUPID CONVERSATION I RANDOMLY THOUGHT UP OF. ON WITH THE ACTUAL DESCRIPTION.
, this is another one of my silly little doodles I have drawn up over the course of the past month or so. Here, we have Fanny rambling about Oswald being "evil" while Ortensia just gives her a skeptical look. Either Fanny's still angry about Oswald breaking up with her "for no reason" (even though it was her fault in the first place because she went off to flirt with other men or something), or she's just trying to trick Ortensia into divorcing Oswald so that she
can get back with him and marry
. Or she's actually trying to warn her.
However it goes, though, one thing's for sure- Ortensia is not
amused. After all, how would you
feel if someone insulted your beloved mate-for-life? Probably not all too pleased.
Once again, trying to draw different kinds of poses and expressions, with Ortensia looking skeptical and Fanny trying to be convincing with a rather upset expression, and I think I did a decent job. This actually isn't the first
time I drew Fanny (the second time, rather)- just the first time I did her up in color. Made her clothing (well, her skirt
, anyway) a bit different from Ortenisa's to better distinguish the two (even if you think the fact that one of them is a cat
and the other one is a rabbit
is enough of a distinction). Kind of messed up in a few places, such as making Fanny's arms a bit asymmetrical when they really shouldn't
be, but I still like how this came out, as always. After all, I am
uploading it as it is, and I only upload things that I like how they came out, after all. I hope you like it, too.A few random side notes:
- Once upon a time, this was actually going to be an image of Oswald flirting with Ortensia while she looks at him with an "I am not amused" type of look (probably not long after he broke up with Fanny and started looking for a new girlfriend, which was all the way back in 1928), but then it turned into this, instead. I have just as little clue as you do.
- Yes, I do think that it was Fanny's fault that she and Oswald broke up in some way, shape, or form. Now, don't get me wrong, I like her too, and I don't think it's her fault because I like Ortensia better or anything like that- it's just that it would seem to make more sense that way. After all, why would Ortensia try and get with Oswald if she felt the insecurity of him doing something bad to her as he did to Fanny, and why would Oswald try and find a new mate if he knew very well that he would just lead him and her into another break up? Think about it for a moment...
- Yes, I am aware that Fanny looks kind of like a leprechaun and that it is nowhere near St. Patrick's Day. Sorry about that. It's just that everyone else draws her in green clothes, so I may as well, too- it's just that for some reason, the way I draw her makes her look even more like a leprechaun.
Ortensia and Fancine "Fanny" Cottontail belong to Disney.
